Monsters Among Us
Every 5th person in Russia experienced tortures or violence from law enforcement agencies. Lots of its employees find torturing people needed and even enjoyable. They may seem normal, but once you know what they've done, their real face can not be unseen.

Not long ago the russian newspaper Novaya Gazeta published a video recorded by a Federal Penitentiary Service employee, showing the torture of inmate Evgeny Makarov at a Yaroslavl prison on June 29, 2017.
An internal investigation started afterwards lead to 11 emloyees being charged and arrested, some of them had already claimed themselves guilty. Prison officials were mainly concerned by the fact that video leaked.
Tortures took place in "educational work class" at the prison, where Makarov was brought after having an argument with guards and calling one of them a "red dog".
"The 10-minute video shows a room full of people, mostly dressed in gray camouflage. Evgeny Makarov (whom the guards identify by his surname) is lying face down on a table. Several men are sitting on him, holding his handcuffed hands violently behind his back. The guards take turns beating the soles of his feet with clubs and their fists, periodically pouring buckets of water over him. In the middle of the video, they remove his pants and underwear. Makarov howls and asks them to stop." - (c) Meduza
Pepople from footage were quickly identified and found in social networks. Ordinary people with families, smiling on their profile pics, sharing photos from parties and vacation just like anyone else. Monsters among us.
